Accommodation and support that make a difference.
Clear Steps CIC focuses on safe accommodation and practical housing-related support for individuals who may need additional help to establish and maintain stable housing. The precise support offered depends on individual needs, accommodation arrangements, referral pathways and service capacity.
A safe and stable place to live can be the starting point for meaningful progress. Our supported accommodation approach aims to provide well-managed residential settings alongside appropriate housing-related support. We consider the suitability of accommodation and the support needs of each individual as part of the referral process.
Housing-related support is intended to help individuals understand and manage the practical responsibilities associated with living in accommodation. This may include structured support sessions, guidance on occupancy obligations and signposting to relevant external services.
Maintaining accommodation successfully involves more than paying rent. We aim to support residents to understand household responsibilities, communicate about property issues, engage with appropriate services and address housing-related challenges before they escalate.
We encourage residents to develop confidence in everyday tasks, including household routines, budgeting awareness, managing appointments and preparing for future housing arrangements. Support is tailored to identified needs and the scope of the relevant service.
Where appropriate, we encourage residents to maintain positive routines, connect with community resources and access specialist services. Clear Steps CIC does not present housing-related support as a substitute for regulated clinical care or specialist statutory services.
Where suitable and within the scope of the service, we work with residents and relevant professionals to consider the next stage of their housing journey, including preparation for more independent accommodation.
Support may include planned one-to-one sessions, practical guidance and appropriate responsive assistance. Frequency and delivery arrangements vary by scheme and individual needs. Any minimum support hours or staffing arrangements should be confirmed for the specific accommodation service before they are published.
Accommodation availability, eligibility, support arrangements, staffing and referral acceptance are subject to assessment and confirmation.
We do not claim to provide regulated personal care, clinical treatment or 24-hour personal support unless separately authorised and explicitly confirmed.

Partnership Enquiry → Make a ReferralHelping people take their next step.
Clear Steps CIC welcomes initial enquiries from local authorities, housing professionals and appropriate referral organisations. Our aim is to establish whether available accommodation and the support offered are suitable for an individual’s needs and circumstances.
A referral partner submits a brief, secure enquiry with their contact details and a general outline of the accommodation requirement.
We review the enquiry against the scope of our services, location, capacity and any relevant suitability considerations.
Where appropriate, we contact the referrer to discuss individual needs, risk considerations, support requirements and the information needed for a proper assessment.
We explain whether the enquiry can progress, what further steps are needed and whether any accommodation or support arrangements can be offered.
Suitability depends on the service and available accommodation. An enquiry may relate to an adult experiencing homelessness or housing instability who could benefit from practical housing-related support. Eligibility, age criteria, referral pathways and exclusions must be confirmed for each scheme.
Please provide an initial outline. Do not include sensitive personal information.
